Zoomlion Mining is an important strategic development industry sector of Zoomlion, and has a national technology center. Looking back to the long history, Zoomlion has a long and profound mining gene, which can be traced back to the design office of the General Administration of Machinery Construction of the Ministry of Construction and Industry established in 1956. This is the earliest scientific research unit in China's construction machinery and mining machinery industries. In 1987, "The complete set of equipment for open-pit mines with an annual output of 10 million tons" won the major technical equipment award issued by the State Council; in the 1990s, it was the first to introduce Japanese technology to develop mining excavators; Since 2007, Zoomlion independently developed the largest 300-ton hydraulic excavator in China through five years of effort. This product has established Zoomlion’s leading position in the field of mining machinery research and development. In the field of material handling, the world's largest Zoomlion 10,000-ton reclaimer was put into use in Brazil's Vale project in 2011.

We forms three series of products: mining equipment, crushing equipment, and material conveying equipment. Among them, mining equipment includes mining drilling rigs, mining excavators, and mining dump trucks; crushing equipment includes a full range of mobile crushing and screening stations, fixed crushing and screening lines; Material conveying equipment includes a full range of stackers and reclaimers, pipe belt conveyors , Loading and unloading machinery, etc.
